Bishop Dr. James E. Feazell, Jr is the founder of LIFT Ministries, Inc. He was born to James Sr.
and Gwen Feazell. Dr. Feazell has three sisters and is father of six. He is a graduate of Largo
High School where he excelled academically and athletically. James graduated from Evangel
University (Springfield, Missouri) with a BS in Sociology. Mr. Feazell has been inducted into the
Hall of Fame of Largo High School and Evangel University for his athletic exploits.

Postgraduate degrees include a Master's in Theological Studies, Doctor of Divinity and Doctor of
Philosophy in Christian Counseling from Northwestern Theological Seminary. Mr. Feazell has
worked in the non-profit sector with various organizations and has served on several Boards of
Directors in varying capacities.

Dr Feazell started his spiritual Journey at Lighthouse Church of Jesus in Largo, Florida under the
leadership of Bishop T.Z. Rayner. I t was here that he was introduced to the Lord. Several years
later the family moved to the Apostolic Church of Jesus in Largo, Florida where Pastor Melvin
A. Lee served as the Senior Pastor. It was at this church where he found his love for God and
Gospel music. The family moved to Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he would serve as
a Choir Director. Later he preached his first sermon on March 26, 2000 at Shiloh Missionary
Baptist Church in Largo, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Willie D. McClendon, Jr. Dr
Feazell would serve as Assistant Pastor for several years where he would display his leadership
skills in varying capacities.

Dr. Feazell was ordained a Bishop by the Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ by Bishop Howard
M. Sarkela in 2014. Currently, Dr. Feazell serves as an Adjunct Professor of Biblical Studies at
Manifest Theological Institute in Tampa, Florida since its inception. The seminary is led by
President Dr. Mark T. Jones and Dean Tavis Myrick. Additionally, Dr. Feazell has been a
Campus Advisor for Northwestern Theological Institute by Bishop Dr. Howard M. Sarkela.
